We have another exciting release which includes automatic debtor notifications and electronic signature functionality for cheques. We met with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy in December, 2017 to ensure our electronic signature feature is fully compliant.
Mandatory upgrade to Version 7.7 – As previously communicated, please ensure you have updated to Version 7.7 no later than June 1, 2018 to ensure your Bankex functionality continues. Bankex functionality will be interrupted if you have not upgraded ahead of the cut-off date.
Fee increase – We strive to continually grow and offer the service and results you have come to expect and demand from us. In order to remain competitive and improve Ascend, we are implementing a price increase, effective June 1, 2018. The new rates are the first change since 2014. These changes will help support continued development of Ascend in order to provide you new functionality, an increased user experience and quality service.
Our latest Ascend enhancements provide a cost savings to your office through reduced postage on mailings, reduced staff time to process mailings, increased accuracy and reduction in Trustee time spent signing cheques, to name a few. In addition, our e-signature platform is the first step in the future development of electronic dividends to creditors.
